Delete your Toecan FleetApp account

This page explains how to request deletion of your Toecan FleetApp account and the personal data associated with it. Toecan FleetApp is operated by Toecan BV, Bruges, Belgium.

1.How to request deletion

To request that your Toecan FleetApp account and its associated data be deleted, send an email to the address below. We do not require a paper form or a phone call — a single email is enough.

Include Your full name and the email address or driver code used to log in to the app

We will confirm receipt within 5 working days and complete deletion within 30 days of confirmation. You will receive a final email when the deletion is complete.

2.What is deleted and what is kept

delete Deleted

  • Driver profile (name, email, phone, language)
  • Trip history (routes, distance, duration, scores)
  • Driving-behaviour events and weekly coaching reports
  • Claim reports and uploaded photos
  • In-app messages and notification tokens
  • DriveQuant SDK user identifier (we request DriveQuant to delete it)

verified Kept

  • Anonymised aggregate analytics (no personal identifiers)
  • Billing and accounting records, where Belgian law requires us to retain them — typically up to 7 years
  • Records subject to an active legal hold (e.g. an ongoing insurance claim or dispute), until the hold is lifted

Anything not listed in the "Kept" column is permanently removed from our production systems and backups within the 30-day window described above.

3.Other ways to manage your data

If you only want to remove specific information rather than delete the whole account, contact us at the same email and describe what you would like changed or removed. Our full data-protection rights and process are described in our Privacy Policy.
